A Beautiful Quilt!

Above is a photo of a quilt made by our members in Appalachia and sent to the ATD Fourth World team in the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda.  The patches form the islands of the Philippine Archipelago, and the word "Bayanihan" comes from the Filipino language, referring to communal work or effort - everyone coming together in the wake of the storm to rebuild things even better.
